-AIGHT, so yet another week, and as the weeks go by the more and more the video game is shaping up to be more like a game and not just random stuff put together on a screen+AIGHT, so yet another week, and as the weeks go by the more and more the video game is shaping up to be more like a game and not just random stuff put together on a screen. Alright! So I've had a busy weekend, but this weekend I will have a lot more time to work on said video game. So far though I have made a png file for our oil slick... Still have yet to test it, but I figure that a 30 by 10 picture should be a good size for a platform.

 +Okay so with our current version of this game we had a few issues that we had to fix... Starting off here we have a segfault... I have found out exactly what line is causing the segfault, so progress, but there is also a segfault whenever we try to jump now...

 +Last update for this journal entry... PROGRESS!! So far we now have a death screen! however the hitboxes aren't correct yet, so that's a pain... Now we have to be able to restart the game whenever the player dies... Theoretically that isn't that hard, but haven'​t attempted it yet, so only when I try will I know if it's hard or not :P.
